The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
